Hi Every1, Can nebudy tell me the difference between "I surpised" & "I was surprised"
From India, Mumbai
I surprised implies that you actually did the surprising. I was surprised, implies that something, or someone surprised you
From United Kingdom, Glasgow
Sparky should have continued to say that both are incomplete sentences without an object.
From United Kingdom
When my duaghter came and told me that she got engaged, I was surprised to find that I had been kept in the dark.
I surprised him (my father) when I said that we had become grandparents.
These are only examples and not facts from my life.
Have a nice day.
