I am pursuing my Diploma in Training and development from ISTD- new Delhi. I have qualified all the written papers and have to submit a Project report. I have received the guidelines from ISTD. But still unable to start the work. Can anyone suggest me how to develop 'Tentative planning' for the project.

You have'nt mentioned your project title, size of the project report or your project duration. First of all identify your area of research, your sample size etc.
Data collection is another important aspect. You can collect data either -primary or secondary. For primary data you need to frame a questionnaire pertaining to your subject and your sample size and level. You can get these questionnaires filled up from the sample you have shortlisted. You may also go in for personal interview as a means of data collection.
For secondary data you can collect the data from net, magazines, books, articles etc. But while collecting the data be very particular as to the name, author, date of publication, voulme no., article title etc. as you will have to provide the refernce for the same in your project report.
Once you have the sufficient data, go in for editing and give it a proper shape. Additions of statistics, charts, maps according to your subject helps in giving it a good impression. Also if u find some data indirectly relevant o your subject u can add it in the annexure or appendix. But mention the same in your project report
Your project report should consist of the cover page, table of content or index, acknowledgement, guide's biodata orcredentials(if asked for), certifcate of declaration and then the proper report. It can be divided into chapters or it can be a single report as advised by ur study centre.
Be careful to enquire regarding the permissible font, font size, margins, spacing etc.
At the end you could attach the bibligraphy or reference, abbreviations if used, appendix etc.

Hi.. I m Gayatri and i hv completed all the written papers in the year 1998. Also I had submitted the project but it did not reach them and I never received the certificate. I have been out of Kolkata for a long time and hence cldn't do the followups properly.I need some help in completing the project.
