Performance Incentive is linked to KRA given in the beginning of the year which is measurable. Can this be changed to qualitative after the KRA is achieved and the amount changed without any discussion?. Kindly clarify.

Dear member,
KRAs once decided or criteria for the incentive once fixed, should be honoured. Any unilateral change should be avoided. Unilateral changes from the employer side lets down the employees. It destroys the motivation of the employee. These demotivated employees do not keep quite and start venting their frustration during tea time or lunch time in the informal discussion, which in turn degrades the culture of the organisation. This un-supportive culture of the organisation holds back the growth of the company.
Thanks,

sir, thanks for your response. I have worked in this organisation for 3.6 years. I am highly committed to my work and all my clients are also happy with me. My rating throughout my career in all the organisations has either been Outstanding or Exceeding Expectation. In the last three months there was a sudden reporting change. I was also assured my appraisal will be done by my previous Boss. But it did not happen so. Nor was there any discussion when my appraisal was done. Not only did they reduce my incentive Bonus they even did not rate me well. this has highly demotivated me.they try to avoid any discussion. I am not in a mindset to continue or even serve the notice period. Please advise. Can I ask them to pay 3 months salary for bringing my career to a sudden halt?
