Today we are introducing our Cite Swarm City Meets program. Anyone who is an established member can start a meet in their city and become the representative.
The meet is designed to be a casual meet, which starts off as a game where members hunt for other Cite members before moving to the final meet area. The meet does not require any arrangements to be made as these meets are purely for the purpose of networking. So just choose any large market place and just gather there.
You can find more information here: CITE SWARM CITY MEET - Pure Authentic Networking <link updated to site home> ( Search On Cite | Search On Google )
Members who are eligible to start a meet will be shown a link to add a new meet. Please fill up the form carefully and give some thought to the place where you would like this meet to happen. All meets are approved after a check on the location and completeness of the entry.

Sid

Greetings,
I write this to share what Cite Swarm means to me. Since , the first CiteHR Meet in 2006 in Pune, there have been few of us , who met each other, regularly, from time to time. This were more of informal meets at either Samvedan's residence or at times Rajat Joshi's residence. We used to meet to discuss our work and brainstorm through different professional situations. These discussions added to our professional acumen and maturity. Samvedan and Rajat Joshi would share their experiences and how they resolved similar challenges as faced by us. At times, we learnt new skills such as Rajat Joshi had taken a session on Emotional Freedom Techniques.
What remained special about these meetings were, we could learn and bond far better than we would do at conference or seminars. There was no card-exchanging situation, in here. It was almost one-to-one learning and focussed growth. Mentoring was best established as I had the option to directly interact with an expert who helped me see the big picture to my career.
As we prepare for the CiteSwarm meet, I am looking forward to find many more co-learners and contributors . What is your reason to attend this? Please do let us know so that we can bring in the best for you.
Here's a RSA video on The Power of Outrospection. I found the message aligned to what we would meet for .

Can we maintain that sharing the CiteHR Id during the CiteSwarm remain optional ? This community is all about contributing anonymously. Hence, if you are attending the meet and don't want to share your CiteHR Id, we respect your decision .

It is an excellent and innovative idea of creating the local group and with that they can take personal guidance with other members, in which the direct interaction is possible.
I do not think anything wrong in sharing the CiteHR Id with other members. We need to hide when we are posting any wrongful materials. Otherwise we need not to afraid to declare our ids.
Further I have one doubt. How can we know regarding the venue, time and date of such meet in our location.
Further more clarification will be useful for our members to act on this hunt.

Hi Bhaskar,
The Swarm meets can be started by any established member - they don't really have any responsibility other than showing up and being the moderator, if there is a turn by turn speaking scenario.
Otherwise it's just plain authentic networking. So you can start a meet in Surat and let other new and old members join in. Any approved meet is automatically shown to the members from that location on the home page.
We also send out notifications to all members in the city, once the meet gets some traction.
