Recently a peculiar practice following by a small scale industry having 400+ employees came to my notice. An employee before completing 10 years service in the said company, he is asked to resign and withdraw his total EPF contribution and rejoin as a new employee . Why i queried the employer ,the replied came just to avoid giving pension under provision of epf pension scheme.
Now my question is
1.Is the practice following by the employer is fair in the view of law?
2.Does a company has to pay pension to the beneficiary when it too contribute to epf pension scheme ?
