Tanu4hr,
Some more information would help me in suggesting to you a draft message, viz.
- was there a practice of allowing employees to work from home?
- if there was a practice, then was it explicit or was a practice without any formal approach?
- why do you want to discontinue the practice?

Hi Sir,
Its not a regular practice. Being a IT company, Sometimes we allow our employees to do WFH due to some genuine reason but now a day everyone start following this & its against our company rules & regulations.
So, my management want me to send a mail to all employees not to do WFH & it will consider as full day leave.
Regards,

Shouldn’t you have a maximum threshold above which you cannot allow WFH in each month?? Completely suspending the policy can have a strong reactions from employees.

Hi Tanu and Kanchan,
As HR persons it would have been appropriate if you had placed a draft
for others to improve upon it. Any way please consider the following and develop your own.

Dear employees,
In the first place the management records its appreciation for the good jobs that you have all been doing. As a result of your efforts your company has made significant progress.
With a view of helping those who had genuine difficulties Management had permitted employees to work from home in certain unavoidable circumstances.
However now it has come to our notice that this has more less become a norm and many employees have started to work only from home. This has placed management in a difficult situation. The earlier practice of face to face meetings, meetings with client, interaction amongst employees have all suffered badly.
Henceforth all employees have to do their work only from the office. The facility of working
from home is immediately withdrawn. Management has been compelled to take this step as explained above. We hope you understand the situation and will continue to extend the support as you have always done in the past

You may modify the above draft to suit your convenience.
