Our HRMS system ( third party application) allows the employees to download or print the Employee handbook which is meant for only Internal use. When we ask the vendor to only make it read option, they tried but couldn't figure out how to stop or control the employees from downloading or printing it, finally they said that they cannot do anything about it.
I wanted to know from the HR's in this forum if their system allows the employee to download or print documents meant for internal use only directly from the system?

What is the issue in employees downloading and taking the printout of the handbook which is meant for themselves? Do you think that an employee would keep on taking print out of the handbook? Why should he take it? Do you have an apprehension that the handbook will be misused? How? And why should it be misused? It is true that an employee handbook is an internal document. But if an outsider gets a copy of it, what is the use of it for him?
