Salary( Remuneration package ) in India is varying randomly based on capacity of the organization to pay, surroundings practices, similar organizations remuneration structure, size and business of the organization, candidate's profile - exp, qualification, actual exposure to the job, internal parity, location of the job etc.
To my opinion you first check the internal parity which is comparable with any other employee(s) within organization, surrounding practices, existing remuneration of the employees etc. Then with some reasonable increase - fix the remuneration.
If you are searching for the job, then it is your call on the basis of above points and your present remuneration level.
