Hi rosh, You can find your pf account no. form Pf local office as per the local address of your last office area. If your last co. was registered with PF then they are liable to submit the returns and all that as per the legal obligation. For this you can ask the (PR officer) at pf office with the proper co. name they will help you out in the case. Because you should know about the co. PF code first then you can get your account no. Hope this will provide some idea to you. If you have the proper name (registered name ) then you can find the code from net also. google-epfo-knwo about your pf status-other entries. Regards Vigas

Hi, If you had absconded (that is what counted by your activity) ditching the employer it would not be possible to get your PF amount. 1. Settlement form needs to be forwarded through the employer, who certifies the information. 2. If you had served less than one year, and if it is the first employer, then even after certification by the employer, you can only withdraw the amount only 50% and that too after 3 months from the last employment date or resignation.
Hi Jayakumar Thnx for the reply but pl note the money deposited by employees are not of Employer,so employee has to get the money by any meanlegal like if Employer is not giving the NOC then She canhave declaration from any competent authority enlisted by local PF authority,May be other reason(Other than Absconding) why she is not intersted to go back for NOC from. She could get the PF must. She can have the PF a/c no from Local office without any problem can meet the PRO. thnx tarun

Dear ROSH, YOU NEED NOT BOTHER ABOUT YOUR Pf amount. it will go nowhere. only thing is you have put little extra time and effort. folow these steps 1)send your resignation by regd.post keep a copy of acknowledgement dont worry if your employer does not acepts it.ask him to send your pf no . 2)after 2months of that you can approach local PF office and get your no. as suggested by others from pf website you can get ur organization number 3)take signature of any gazetted officer and submit your claim. then pf office will check your guenuenity (verifies you are the correct person) and transfers your pf to given account no. in claim form if you have any doubts send me msg at

Dear ROSH, Yes to a certain extent you will be right in what your are doing because we dont know the reason for you to quit the company. Well if your service was less than 6months with that company the best thing to do is get it transferred since you will only get the employee contribution, but if you have worked for more than 6months than just collect your company PF number from any of your ex company friends and than with that code you can try to collect the your PF number from local PF office. Only thing might be a problem according to me is in most of than cases you need to get PF forms signed from the employer. Hope without any problem you will be able to get your PF amount. More importantly you can apply for PF withdrawal only after 60 days from your last date of working. Let us know you have got this problem sloved. Regards Amith R.
