Hi Dilip,
The ceiling amount to be covered under ESI Act is 10000/- rupees gross per month.. And 1.75% of gross per month is been deducted from Employee side whereas 4.75% of the same is been deducted from the employer side..
So the maximum deduction of ESI Act from an employee can be
1.75% of 10000/- = Rupees 175/- only.. Whereas, from the employer side it would be 4.75% of 10000/- = Rupees 475/- only..

you can deduct the esic amount till the 15000. /- gross salary as per mentioned wages below.

empe contribusion: 1.75%
empr contribusion: 4.75%

e.g. gross salary is 10000.00/-
emple cantirubusion:- 175.00/-
empr contribusion:- 475.00/-
