Very recently few employees of our organisation has donated blood to one of the close relative of management.
Now I have to issue appreciation letter to each employee.if any body is having any sample letter than please share.

Dear Ritu,
Blood donation is a virtue. By donating blood, your employees have served the cause of humanity. However, I am against the idea of issue of appreciation letter for blood donation.
Appreciation letters are issued for employees' outstanding performance or when employees do something beyond the call of their duty or some very innovative idea. Nevertheless, blood donation transcends all the higher limits. Therefore, I recommend top management authority calling employees and thanking them personally.
Let other senior members also give their views.
Thanks,

Blood donation is a highly appreciable action on part of the employees.
They can definitely be thanked by the people who benefitted from this noble act.
Appreciation letters may not be the ideal way of showing our feelings.

Suggest to give the donors a Certificate that will bear signature of Doctor, HR and Unit Head in any Morning with a proper notice in advance to be collected near your HR Office. You can simultaneosly display a circular thanking the donors that this noble act has saved life of so and so person. This will spread a message of belongingness and spread family bonding and concerns among all that you managed this .I can give draft of both free of cost, as a help to you.

Hello Ritu,
While sharing the remarks of Dinesh & Nathrao that giving Appreciation Letters MAY NOT be the right way to appreciate, I have another reason for this view.
The employees concerned donated blood to a 'close relative of the management'........NOT to any unknown person or accident victim. What's so special?
Will YOU not donate blood to any of your family member or relatives? And what's an Organization where one works but an extended family? After all one spends a large part his/her life @ work......after sleep.
Would you expect any Appreciation Letter from your family/relatives?
Suggest do not give scope for any such precedents......there are chances that those employees may begin to take advantage of their action as days go by creating some sort of divide among the employees.
If you really wish to do something, let the relative THANK those employees AT THE PERSONAL LEVEL....DON'T allow the organization to get involved.
