Dear Sir, Greetings. Need clarification/advice from the fraternity. We are a manufacturing company working 3 shifts daily based at Telangana.
Are there any special things are to be arranged for the Night Shift employees i.e. like rest time, snacks or tea, or any other as per the statutory norms.

Kindly advise.
As per statutory norms it is essential to provide half an hour rest after 5 hours of continuous working. For night shift many organizations are offering night shift allowance as hardship only in case of night shift duty. There are organizations who also offer some light snacks during recess period.
