No such barometer is available to measure one’s salary. Its all depends on the individuals experience and their employer. Pon

Dear Kirthi,
You really can't decide what you deserve to earn with this qualifications &experience. If you really want to assess your self, you can try for a job change for better salary. My advice- BCOM is not enough as a professional qualification. For you, scope within this job or some other job out side is limited.Don't overestimate yourself with present qualification First you must add to your qualification which has value in job market. Otherwise stay satisfied in the present job. Since your present job is with a multinational company at least you have a job security with reasonably good pay. This is my friendly advice to you.

Frankly the remuneration cannot be weighed only on the qualification and experience. I'm sure you are not underpaid having put up 8.5 yrs.service in such a big MNC. I don't think B.Com qualification per se may fetch you more than what you are drawing presently. Let me ask you what made you to raise this query. Are you feeling some thing different now a days ? Are you comparing your peers in other disciplines, say a graduate in science or HR stream ? You must be knowing by now B.E. B.Ed., and other graduates are only paid ranging between 4k to 8k in various estts. May be there are not among the cream in their disciplines but viewing they are also graduates they should be deserving much more. Generally employer look at, also the capabilities in an employee coupled with required qualifications. It's also true persons with SSLC, PUC, ITI,diploma etc who are otherwise found competent are paid handsomely in some areas where they are able to prove their mettle. I don't mean to say you should not deserve more but it sometimes necessary to look around as well to judge oneself.
