If a person has worked as contractual employee in the organisation and later got appointed as permanent employee. How the gratuity will be calculated. Will he get the gratuity for the complete length of service (contractual + permanent) or in separate portions?

For the purpose of Gratuity calculation the DOJ of the employee can be considered from Contract role. Being a same company considering the loyalty of the employee his/her actual DOJ can be considered.
