Mother Teresa has been asked by the HR stalwarts to preside over a HR seminar in calcutta.
She simply said : Do your know your employee and do love him or her. All the stalwarts are awed.
The whole gamut or spectrum of HR concepts - Recruitment, induction, Training with people as the real asset are covered in her two questions - is it not ?
another thought of her :
We fight because we have forgotten that belong to each other.

Hi,
Around us lot of people from whom we can learn HR Lesson. How we forget them. When Prince charles visited Mumbai and praise the Dabaawala. Then we realise their team work and startergies. Ramdas Swami written 'Dasbodh' 300 years ago. How many people know in 'Dasbodh' he mentioned and given example of management.

@Malti....Research about how to link a completely different scenario with HR or for that matter IR or Personnel Mgmt or Business Ideas or Planning or Organizing or Controlling or Staffing or Leading is certainly not my cup of tea bcoz I relate to things in reality of the present and not otherwise....maybe the one who has done this about Gandhiji can do it for others too with your help and post it over here for the benefit of all members who take pride in learning lessons of HR from anything famous only to get attention of the Management Lessons Learnt.....Life is it itself a lesson to be learnt at every step and moment, what one learns is dependent on himself/herself as per his perception and not otherwise............rgrds
