Which is better, a receptionist job or a telecom rigger job? I am a receptionist for 3 years now but I want a job in which I can gain more experience, my salary becomes better, and its future is functionally good and required in other companies.

Dear Mahmoud Rady,
Right now you are working as a secretary and now you wish to become a "telecom rigger". What exactly is the nature of the job? Will it require a change of company or you will be able to make a lateral move within the same company? Are you qualified to do this job? Are you competent to handle the various tasks of this job?
Before making a switch, I recommend you do a SWOT Analysis of your career. You will sufficient information on Google on SWOT Analysis of a career, however, if you wish to read my past reply on the subject, then you may click here.
Change of job is fine, however, it should not be a temporary measure. You should be clear what will be the promotional avenues in this field. Please be clear on what could be your designation after 5, 10, 15 and 20 years.
Thanks,
