I'm at the final stages of interview process and almost selected. On my resume, there was a typo regarding my joining date in one of my earlier organizations as Oct'18. When I rechecked my documents I noticed that it was Dec'18 on my experience certificate. What should I do? Should I intimate this to HR as I do not want a problem with BGV. Kindly advice.

Dear member,
Yes, intimate to the organisation that interviewed you about the anomaly in the date of joining in the experience letter. Tell them that you have approached the ex-company for the correction of the same.
At the same time, approach the ex-company for the issue of the experience certificate with correct date of joining. Do this expeditiously.
Thanks,
