Dear Rajneesh,
The purpose or the objective of that group or association irrespective of the number of the people therein would alone determine whether it can be called as a trade union or not. If you form a group of blood donors in the industry, can it be called as a trade union?

Dear Rajneesh,
Always try to go by the defination. If the things appear as per the defination then only can be considered or otherwise no. Mr. Umakanthan has rightly replied and one need to use the brain.

Dear colleague,
As per TU Act, to form a trade union , you have to have minimum 7 members from the establishment,. Only two persons from two associations can not be called trade union.
