Before you even open your mouth, people around you have already made an opinion about you!! and as you know first impression lasts.
You do communicate volumes about yourself through your gestures, face expressions & posture.

That was a good presentation. The last slide said it all. As Indians, we laugh a lot with people whom we know. We just don't know how to smile! Just as you wear your dress, you do need to wear that smile.

Dear Shikha,
Thank you so much for the useful presentation. Working as an interpeter I often pay attention to the non-verbal behavior of my principals. And, as the interpreter's role is to convey not only the words but also the mood and the attitude, I started analyzing my own body language to avoid giving wrong impression of what was initially meant. I was glad to find reflection of some of my guesses and observations in your presentation.
Thanks again for valuable recommendations. Good luck and keep smiling!
