Hi I am currently working in an it MNC in Mumbai since 2 years. And since 1 year I am on bench. Here we have the attendance system as card punching we have to punch our cards. And then we have to fill the timesheets which is then approved by the supervisor. Since Last September I used to come to office once or twice a month just to fill my all timesheets( I know I did wrong I had some personal reasons ). Now after 8 months my supervisor caught me and reported to HR. I want to know what actions can be taken against me. Will I be terminated. Or legally will company ask me to pay the whole salary. Please help.

Dear Friend,
Whatever you have done that is absolutely unacceptable from employer because Employer is paying the salary and you are misleaded the company for 8 months, So now company have the full rights to terminate you or else recover salary from you.
