TWO SEEDS:
Two seeds lay side by side in the fertile soil.
The first seed said, "I want to grow! I want to send my roots deep into the soil beneath me, and thrust my sprouts through the earth's crust above me ... I want to unfurl my tender buds like banners to announce the arrival of spring ... I want to feel the warmth of the sun on my face and the blessing of the morning dew on my petals!"
And so she grew...

The second seed said, "Hmmmm. If I send my roots into the ground below, I don't know what I will encounter in the dark. If I push my way through the hard soil above me I may damage my delicate sprouts ... what if I let my buds open and a snail tries to eat them? And if I were to open my blossoms, a small child may pull me from the ground. No, it is much better for me to wait until it is safe."
And so she waited...

A yard hen scratching around in the early spring ground for food found the waiting seed and promptly ate it.

Never look for comfort, never wait for something to happen, instead be brave and face every obstacle that comes in your path and one day you will become succesful. Nice story. Keep sharing. - Babu

Excellent story. It gives everyone a message of coming out of comfort zone, if one wants to become big or prosper.

Fetus in mother's womb is a nice example of being in comfort zone. The fetus has to do nothing there, gets oxygen & nutrition passively, thanks to mother, who takes every care for the yet to be born child......

In fact the first step a human being takes is coming out of comfort zone, when the fetus decides to come out in the world to become an own identity.

Child to school, then college and finally a job are transitions where there could be fun as well as testing times in this tough world.

No one has ever flourished by sitting in Comfort Zone.

However, at some point of time people may be scared of coming out of comfort zone and possibly then stop growing

The 'Story of Two Seeds' by Kanika is an important message for all of us that do not remain in comfort zone if you want to grow

There was a Mararhi Poem written over 5 decades ago which translated says

'Do not stop as those who stop have a possibility of getting extint. The one who Runs, gathers strength and finds the (fruitful) Road (ahead), as the Time goes forward (only)'

Compliments to Ms. Kanika once again for putting such a huge theme in a nutshell......
