Greetings to you all.
I have been working in a private company for the last 11 years and my gross drawings are Rs. 35000/- p.m. The structure of my salary is Rs 14500/- by cheque and balance of Rs. 20500/- in cash. Form 16 is issued to me for the cheque amount.
Now, I wants to avail home loan and my ITR is filed on the basis of Form-16 which is issued at salary of Rs. 14500/- which is not good enough to apply for home loan. I had requested my boss many times to revise my salary cheque amount to Rs. 30000/- and eight months have passed, my cheque amount have not yet been revised. Despite my repeated requests, I got nothing else but assurance and I don't know how to tackle this situation. I'm also aware that it is my choice how I want my salary to be paid and not company's choice.
Appreciate if expert advise is given to me on this matter.

I am sure it is something to do with your company's tricky or fishy accounting procedures....they are certainly maintaining two balance sheet...one for government and one for them...so i dont see they are going to issue you correct F-16. Hope you understood..
If your have any salary revision letter with you....you can quote that for a correct F-16, else no point in asking.....

From the post I understand that you as well as your employee are at wrong, as per law of our land. Getting monthly 20K by cash is quite irregular and you should desist from that. For all practical purposes, in the eye of law, your salary is what you have been getting through cheque. By paying huge sums in cash, to employees your company is pumping black money. Please settle the issue with your employer and you should not come out in forums like this. You may be under strict proof, when you say you receive so much money by cash. You cannot prove it.
