Dear Prasad,
You can speak with your HR personnel and talk about this. Your manager must be misusing her position.
You have full right to speak with HR department and compliant . First, it will be verbal and then it can be written complaint. Law is meant for both male and female employees. I conduct anti sexual harassment workshops in organisations. Its applicable for both male and female employees. Harassment can be mental and physical. I hope my message is clear.

Hi Nashbramhall,

A nice suggestion to refer to earlier posts... That's always helpful. But I doubt this is really a case of "Harassment of male by female boss".

This is more of an issue of "Boss Don't Bear Any Type Of Pressure Of Work On Her And Transfer It To Any One". Boss being a lady, might be just an coincidence.

I believe not everything need to be resolved by complaints to HR & cases in labor courts. Some things can be sorted out more easily, by tuning ourselves to learn & handle such situations in better manner.

I would refer Mr. Durga Prasad to the book called "Bad Bosses, Crazy Coworkers & Other Office Idiots: 201 Smart Ways to Handle the Toughest People Issues". This is available on internet & for purchase in market. A very good & practical resource to handle such issues in organizations. Out of the 201 ways, you will find one or two case studies to match your scenario.

Sorry, but I will not be able to upload it here due to copyright restrictions.

Best Regards,

Amod Bobade.

The same query has been posted in another post.Various members have given views for consideration.

Member can go through the views for information.

Document the instances-words used, witnesses, dates, timings and cause of outburst by manager.

Then report matter to HR for resolution.

If the particular manager is in habit of loosing her cool, there will be other staff members also affected.

So getting corroboration may not be a problem and HR or other authority can counsel the manager concerned or take suitable action.

But complainant must remain cool and calm in dealing with the matters with lady manager.

I do not think it is question of harassment of male by lady boss,it is a psychological trait of some people-male or female -that they react in different manner when placed under pressure and are ok in normal work circumstance.

Some managers cannot take pressure and have to let out steam by getting harried and making staff uncomfortable.

Matter need to be resolved by bringing matter to notice of HR channels.
