After working for 2.5 yrs, I left company in Nov, 2013 to start on my own. On 12 Feb, 2015 I filled and submitted (19 and 10C) forms to company's PF consultant(as per her guidance).
First, no sms sent by PF office which I expected to receive in order to track my epf status. Today(5 Mar, 2015) all of a sudden some 12.5K amount is credited with message EMPLOYEE PROVIDENT.
Last year I download EPF passbook which was updated till 31st March 2014 with interest. The sum of amount is above 1 lakh (Employee Share, Employer share all are much greater than the amount credited, even the Pension Fund amount is higher than above).
Could some please suggest what can be done ?

Hello Sandeep,
Wait for a couple of days. Generally, there are 2 different amounts that gets credited, one for the Provident fund and the other for the pension.
Only after you see both the entries, you would be in a position to judge if the amount credited into your account is less.

I checked in the afternoon WITHDRAWL STATUS using my pf number it was showing NO RECORD FOUND.
However I try now again at 1:00 A.M it is showing PF office has received the forms and under process. Thank God.
Though I am not sure why amount received in so low ?

Dear Mr.Sandeep Agarwal,
The above amount (Rs. 12500) may be towards Pension withdrawal benefit. If your service in EPS is 2 years and 6 months or more, the amount will be equal to 3.003 x salary. If it is less than 2 years and 6 months, amount will be 1.979 x salary.

Hi Mr. Abbas,
Have a query here, 3.003 of your Salary will be a much bigger amount i.e 3 Times of your Salary. I didnt understand this, what is the Salary that is to be taken here?? Please help clarify.

I withdraw my PF in Feb 2013 even i left my job in nov 2012 but i got less amount as per PF passbook it was not updated for 02 month 01 of July 2012 & 02 of Sep 2012 there was no entry even my contribution was paid for these month, after i tried to check my account but it has been closed and i cant download passbook.
Is there any way to claim remaining amount. Pls suggest.

I recieved PF amount to my account today.SMS were sent to my Mobile within 20 days after submission to pf office by the company.Nowdays the service has improved one can alway submit a compliant online EPFO site

Similar to Sandeep, I filed for PF withdrawal in Dec 2015 after 2.5 years of service as I moved abroad. I just received a sum of 20k (my pension contribution is 23k) but my pf contribution (employee + employer contributions) is 3.2 lakhs.
I hope I'm receiving the 3.2 lakhs soon!
