7a is an enquiry undertaken by APFC or above officer to assess the due that have not been paid. in case you have paid the dues for the "inquired period" properly on time you just have to show the PF challans to the APFC. he will then give a speaking order where in he will calculate any pending dues, if at all, and pass an order asking you to pay the amount immediately.
