Why Infosys being an IT company hires civil engineering students also ? I'm a final year civil engineering student and seeking answer to this question. Infosys is coming to our college the next week and I will be appearing the exam.

Even though it is an IT company. there might be some projects like for an example, if we are designing Geo location maps or if we are opening a new branch office or to make plans for their office buildings or other projects, there is a requirement to survey the location... So there might be a few projects of this kind where they need a civil engineer... that s the reason even though it is IT company it hires civil engineers.
