I got selected in one company where the company handles its all hiring and hr related stuff by another company.
I was thinking of creating a seperate salary account after receiving the offer letter from the company but the hiring company says they need bank details such as ifsc, account number and bank name for processing the offer letter without that they can't process!

My question is : Is it necessary ro provide bank details for processing offer letter?

Sharing of bank details depends on company to company. Every company asks for bank details, but same is collected only after a candidate's onboarding the company.

It looks very strange that your company asks for it, just to process your offer letter.

1. Today many outsource people are conducting Interviews for companies at an undisclosed places.
2. If you received a letter for attending the Interview please take copies with you. Give a copy only to the company and don't part with the original letter. Many take away the original and the person absentmindedly not taken a copy of it with him.
3. They don't show which company engaged them to recruit.
4. After the Interview and after getting your appointment with the Company, you first has to get letter of Appointment from the Company.
5. Only after you joining the company and start duty submit officially the bank details.
6. Don't give any bank details to the outsourced peoples unless there is a written request by them and there is a official letter of appointment from the company.
7. Only after you enter a Company that is physically exists and after due procedure give details.
8. If you wish to open new account tell them you will do so after you are appointed and after a week of joining duty at the Company.
9. Today too many fictious things are happening. Many run business at residential premises. Many run their establishment in corporate buildings and the Security is informed not to send any one inside. Such circumstances you get cheated and the Security of the Building will cooperate with Establishment in the Building.
So be careful.

Bank account is not a part of processing appointment letter. So don't give any thing to them before hand without you holding a written agreement of employment or Letter of Employment and after joining duty in the company. In simple terms don't marry by photograph. Marry physical human to be spouse, no proxy.

As others have said, don't be too quick to hand over bank details to unknown companies. Fraud is rampant all over the world.

If you must hand over details, then follow your gut instinct and open a new bank account with a minimal deposit. That way, if anything does go wrong, you will not lose more than a few rupees. Once you start work and establish yourself in the new company, then you can redirect your salary back to your normal bank account.

The bottom line is never ever hand over your bank details without thorough investigation of the situation first. Once you make a mistake, it is almost impossible to recover from it.

You may furnish the details sought excluding the Bank details mentioning that the same would be furnished at the time of onboarding.
