The HR Practices in a home company as well as MNC will be more or less same. But if you want to further grow in MNC you need to focus on :
1. Cultural Diversity of handling different talents of multicultural background for which you need to develop exposure in different cultural patters of different global regions.
2. You may need to ger expertise in Tech savvy including the various software based HR applications including SAP HR and so on
3. You may also need to attend to various seminars to get accustomed to the multicultural environment in forms like SHRM https://www.shrm.org/about-shrm/pages/default.aspx and other such forms.
4. There are short programs offered by leading institutes on managing multicultural work force which you can identify and get familiarization.
5. You undertake to travel whenever opportunity given by your organization to visit other countries for any short term assignments or you can volunteer for such options by talking to your Business leaders. Travel gives you immense learning and exposure for future. Take every single opportunity to travel to various countries and locations in the globe in the present organization so that you get ready for many heights.
