Dear Sir,
It should be in standard format or Form number? We are already using Iso propyl Alcoholin our production of prep Pad.
If we have taken permission for that then again new permission for ethanol required?

Dear Sir,
Is it compulsory to take license for ethanol? As it will be used in the production process.
We don't want unnecessary attraction of Government officers towards our organization.

Control of alcohol and related family of products comes in the state government. So it depends on what state you are in.
Most states have issues control orders for ethanol mainly because it gets diverted to making illegal country liquor.
So check the state government website for details

It comes under State Excise Department, you have to take license from State Excise for Purchasing, storage and Consumptions of Ethanol (Denature Esprit). License issue for one year April to March, every year you have to renewal it. You have to maintain stock register (purchase & Consumption) of Ethanol.
