Dear <sahas.jyotsnahr@gmail.com>
For the allocation of company assets to the employees, you need to make the policy. For this, please check my following reply of similar query in the past:

Dear Prasad,
I have gone through your format. However, it needs further improvisation on the following counts:
a) Date of purchase of asset is not mentioned.
b) Suppose if the allottee damages the asset out of negligence. Then will you recover the depreciated value of the asset or the original price of the asset is not mentioned.
c) What about the ageing of the asset? What is technical life period and what is the economic life period?
d) What about cross-transfer of the assets? Is it permissible?
e) Who will bear the routine Repair and Maintenance cost? For example, what if the motherboard of laptop becomes unserviceable? Who will bear the servicing cost, company or allottee?
There are so many questions associated with the allotment of company assets. You need to take comprehensive look at it.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
