Instead of informing to your mgmt, i think u can do something from your side...
Make an awareness about IP cameras & Information security issues - THrough emails to all the employees, Pop ups in system log in screens, Small posters... & with some quotations. So the person(Victim) will understand & avoid acting in certain ways... But if that CONTINUES even after these many steps - INFORM MGMT.

hi,
this is Asst. General Manager here,
c firstly,
accepting them is not crime,
until and unless they r free from other danger items
let her get it opened by the house keeping and if required she can gift them to house keeping there itself,
or get them dropped at near by crossing or any orpahanage, say thanks to nearby staff,
because every thing is watched and the nearby known person either informs the guy or knows about ur ideas,
just thank him saying who ever he is god bless him, and if required distribute them among the other staff,
but do not carry them with u personnally as adviced by others.
just go on.... and on.... take it easy....
many in the world need such type of offerings,
just go on,bi

Hi Swapna,
You identify the employee through the CC camera and counsel the employee regarding the behavior because we didnot know the employee (Lady) is married or not. If the employee repeat the same behavior, you highlight the incident to the management.

Dear Ms. Swapna...
I hope the problem got over now. But as an HR, Prevention is better than cure. Each and every employee should have a fear that they should not induldge in these type of activities. Some type of punishments should be given to such employees.. Giving memo, Suspension for 2 days without pay, postpone his appraisal say after a month or two month. These things will make the other employees not to involve. Automatically Discipline comes...
I just want to know what happened finally?
Plz let me know...
Thanks & Regards,
Saravanan

Hi,
I think that as lady employee has informed HR about the incidents and she is not happy with it, you should necessary steps to identify the person responsible for doing it.
If you have the authority to check CC TV footage and identify, do it else escalate it to right authority who has power to check CCTV footage.
Once person is identified, talk to the person and make sure to inform person to stop such incidents with immediate effect. also, communicate clearly that in case of such incident in future, more serious action can be taken. Put these details down on paper and get the person to sign it along with senior person from the organisation.
This paper will serve as notice to the person and can used as proof if required.
This should help to resolve the problem as person will understand the stand taken by the management. In case person continue such behaviour, management can decide and take appropriate action including termination of services.

Dear Friend, You must write an email ASAP to management explaining the whole situation. This is is the demand of our job.

Yes, you definitely should get in touch with senoir management about this anf if you are authorized to check cctv you must go a head and check that and accordingly you can give verbal warning to that employee. If behavior is still repeated you should get it in written notice as well.

Yes, you definitely should get in touch with Senior management or probably initially you can discuss this issue with your immediate boss. Also, if you are authorized to see cctv you must go ahead and find out the guilty person. Whomsoever he/she is, you can have a meeting with him/her and give him/her verbal warning. If behaviour is still repeated you must then give a warning in written with the consideration of your senoir management.
