The following Acts will be applicable to the Indian Construction Industry:

1. The Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment & Conditions of Service) Act, 1996, applicable as per State Rules.
2. Minimum Wages Act, 1948.
3. Payment of Wages Act, 1936.
4. Payment of Bonus Act, 1965.
5. Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972.
6. Employees' Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952.
7. Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948.
8. Workmen's Compensation Act, 1923, and Fatal Accident Act, 1885.
9. Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970.
10. The Maternity Benefit Act, 1961.
11. Local Municipal/Corporation Building Rules, if any.
12. National Festivals & Holidays Act, if applicable.
13. House Rent Allowance Act, if applicable for the State.
14. Labour Welfare Fund Act, if applicable for the State.
15. Pollution Control Board Act & State Rules, for Consent to Establish and Consent to Operate.
16. Electricity Supply Act, 1948.
17. The Environment Protection Act, 1986.
18. Petroleum Act, 1934.
19. Inter-State Migrant Labour Act.
20. Professional Tax Act, as per State applicability.
