Sir/Madam, Please help me.
I am an MBA final year student specialized in Finance & HR. The campus recruitment has been started now. Further, I have prior work experience of 2 yrs. in customer retention (6 month) and customer service (18 months) with two different companies.
How could I justify the followings
Why did you leave the job and joined MBA?
Actual Reason: To get work experience
Why did you switch over to another company within 6 months of experience?
Actual Reason: Conflict with the Asst. Manager
Why did you choose MBA?

Why are you interested in Finance and not HR or vice versa?
If I was asked to sell a product, which strategy should I implement?

Hi
Please do not say its because you 'want to work with people' - sounds really corny. If you have specialised in HR as part of your MBA try and pick out one or two HR topics that really interested you e.g. Succession planning or Training and Development and then talk about these points in the interview

Hi Mohan
some tricky questions there. I think wanting to do a business qualification like an MBA does not need to be explained - most companies understand the importance of an MBA. However, if you are struggling, go to the website of any MBA college and jot down some of the blurb they give about why you should do an MBA.
Regarding leaving your first job after only 6 months, why not say that after 6 months in your first job you realised that you wanted to go in a different direction. The fact that you stayed in your next role for 18 months shows that you do not job-hop. Don't linger too long on why you left your first job, quickly move onto discussing all the great things you liked about your second role.
The finance/ HR specialisms will be hard for you to explain. Both functions are not the same so it will be hard for you to explain your choices. Why not suggest that you liked working in the support functions such as Finance or HR rather than operations or marketing?

Hi Ranjit,
I have one question in my mind. I have completed MBA from Distance learning and i am confident that if i would be selected as HR i would perform better than a regular MBA student however most of the renound companies does not consider Distance Learning MBA even if we have studied throughout and have the ability .Why?

Hi Shivani
it is a pity companies do not value distance learning education as much as full time programmes. I have studied part time via distance learning and the amount of dedication and hard work needed is much higher than when I have been a full-time student. Perhaps its worth pointing this out in your 'career summary' section of your resume - had to juggle work, family and studies to complete my MBA etc etc.
