Such intrusions into un-related threads, hampers the visibility of the query and also the chances of getting replies.
Moreover, it leaves a bad taste. Here, members were discussing a particular issue with enthusism and gusto and out of the blue, an un-related query pops up before them !!
It seems as if people attending a funeral are presented with invitations to attend a fun-party in the evening.
