The confusion is regarding 7000; some of the seniors are saying it is the minimum wages limit, and some are saying it is the minimum bonus limit. Hence, first, we need to examine what the means of 7000 defined in Section 12 of the Bonus Act. Whether it pertains to minimum wages or minimum bonus. I have gone through many threads on this portal pertaining to bonus calculation; all the seniors have shared their views differently. Some are saying the bonus should be calculated on the actual basic of 6000, and some are saying on 7000.
