Hello everyone
Thank you so much for the help.
I have only 14 employees, so PF does not apply to my company as we are less than 20 in number.
So only deduction will be ESIC.
Please correct me, if I am wrong

Dear Saloni
EPF numbers changed to 10 or more employees. Kindly visit EPF & get the recent amendment.
Regards to your ESI Query. You have to capture ESI for the said salary (i.e., 18,000).

Dear Saloni,
Your restaurant at Chennai, being a Catering Establishment, the Tamilnadu Catering Establishments Act,1958 is applicable to it. I do hope that you would have registered the establishment under the Act within 30 days of its commencement and obtained a registration certificate on the basis of the maximum no. of employees likely to be employed on any day during the calendar year and maitaining the various registers and notices under the Rules. May I draw your attention to Sec.7 (2) of the ACT? The total no. of hours of work on any day shall not exceed 10 hrs including the O.T of only one hr and the total O.T hrs should not exceed 54 IN ANY QUARTER.
