Thank you, Priyanka and Arpan. It is my privilege to be useful to you.

Regarding Arpan's advice, in my personal experience, always putting every request and information in an email may not be the best strategy. Yes, when we feel, by professional judgment, that some dialogue, transaction, or critical information must be recorded, then putting that in an email is the minimum requirement. Otherwise, many times verbal communication through a direct approach, phone calls, SMS, or asking for information in an informal setting (like during lunch or on the office floor) can be very useful and approachable. The other person should not doubt that you are resorting to email because of a lack of trust. Building unquestionable trust with seniors, peers, customers, and any industry stakeholder is one of the key assets in professional and personal relationships. Keeping your ego in check is critical to that endeavor.

Yes, you are right Nimai, but I had passed through it so I advise this. We know we are good, but many times when people come in trouble, they blame us for this and report to seniors that all this was done by us. So, if we communicate through email and such circumstances happen at that time, we will be in a strong position as we will have documentary evidence.

I never say that we should never talk verbally with others. But at the same time, think about the reaction after communication, and ensure it does not lead to any problems. Not every time, but some people change with time, so we need to keep our eyes open during our work day.

Hi,

I think the profile they are giving you is nothing more than that of sales. This is probably because you would have good communication skills and a convincing attitude. My suggestion is that if your focus is in HR only, then this opportunity is something that can be avoided. However, if you are someone who likes to experiment, then you can explore this.

Wish you all the best!

Vineet

Dear Priyanka,

It is part of HR, so it depends on you how to handle HR activities with this role. I am sure that after starting this work, your confidence level will automatically increase.

Another plus point of this work is that you will meet different types of people, and they will guide you to solve problems. You can learn clients' requirements.

Thank you.
