Dear Sonal,

As many have suggested, some kind of cultural program with the flavor of competition and exciting prizes will surely get everyone involved. A special lunch would definitely make the occasion enjoyable.

All the best

Dear Sonal,

If I were you, I would split this into two parts:

1. Tie up with an NGO, old age home, or orphanage and invite your colleagues to be a part of spreading happiness by sharing.

2. Have an in-house event that ensures the participation of all your employees. Options can include a quiz, talent show, or a musical/cultural event.

Have a great celebration,

Dear Sonali,

Give your colleagues the 'light' of their life. We offer handwriting analysis services to corporates as 'fun' too. Our analysts can provide a 'fun' analysis and at the same time can uncover some of their hidden issues. We have conducted several such events, and I am confident that this will be a 'first' for your company.

Hi Sonal.

On the occasion of Pooja, can the company distribute sweets packets along with some branded crackers? Additionally, before the holiday, can the company arrange a lunch/dinner plan in the office campus? Furthermore, could the company organize a bonus for all staff members as a way to make employees happy and provide a family-like environment?

I completely second Yoganand here. Just to add to what he has mentioned, we may opt for a donation box or charity without keeping any limit on the donation amount. Towards the end, collect all the amount and hand them over to the Charitable Trust/NGO/Orphanage, etc. With due respect to all, I also second their thoughts on celebrating Diwali in different ways. That would give you external joy, but this activity will give you internal peace. Good Luck, Sonali.

Hi Yoganand,

A very good suggestion. A very direct and firm way to tell your employees that you care. Though what I would suggest is to do anything but work. Let the colleagues be together without the work.

Best wishes,
