Respected Ravindra & Barkha

First of all please accept my regards,

My self vikas & i am looking after a small organization HR department.

I have a problem in my organization, i need a comments from both of you.

In my organization, we have one employee, he is very good leader becasue he has good no. of followers. But management not given him yet any position where he can enjoy official power.

Now problem for me is, this person has no good view about management, he has something negative approch for management.

I have try my best to change his view... but i hate to say sorry , there is not much change in him... he is the sr. most in his department.

now management thinking to give him some official power, they want my view on this part...

Shall i ask management that i need some more time, because if a person who has not very good respect for management & if management gives him official power, he might be create a long term problem eg. he might be get sauces to change his subordinates view as him.

or i should ask management that he is not fit for the empowerment, here i want to clarify that he is very famous face in his department.

Please suggest me what i should do.

your fast reply will help me in this regards.

Hi Barkha,
Precise difference is leader has visionary skills. he can visualize what the future would be hence responsible for setting vision & mission of the organization. He gives the direction to the company.
While the manager is a follower & needs to be directed as to what is to be done. he decides the How part of it. Mainly responsible for execution of the plans.

Manoj
