I am newly joined member i want to clarify one thing for example my CTC is 1.20 lacs and the basic is 4000 ,if i am for 2 days then how this will be calculated

can any body clarify me how gratuity is calculated for Eg: my salary is 10000 p.m and Basic is 4000 and I have worked for 6 years in the company then how gratuity is calculated pls explain me briefly

Dear Mr.Kishan kumar,
Would like to give you the other aspects of the employee too...
Not all the employees are of same mind set.We may recruit a person to achieve the Company's goal, but he may have sudden & unexpected reason for not attending the work.
And when it comes to time frame they take for work, the current scenario is totally different as no employee is been given with a specified part of work, it is a continues process.....(If your boss assigns u to complete a task, when you are about to leave for the day)
So kindly think about the other set of employee who are genuine towards work, who can make use of the encashment.
As an HR professional we need to consider all the aspects.
