Instead of checking at jobportals the salary organisations are paying, plz check the salary received ny those who fit into your said JD and Industry, gather 10 latest profiles from Naukri or monster.com and get the average salary of those guys. This wd give U a close estimate.

1. Check if you have Salary structure for specfic position
2. Check his last drawn salary
a. If your budget permit offer him with 30 to 40% of appriciation.
OR
b. If your budget is low negotiate & try to close on same package
