As HR professionals, we always prioritize people. Our services are tailored for intra-organizational individuals. We understand that management often adopts an authoritative approach, but it is crucial how you advocate for the interests of your people.

Shalini, employees feel motivated when their concerns are considered. In our organization, we initially had a policy of having the second Saturday off as a full day, but later we revised it to make every Saturday a half-day policy. This change led to numerous apprehensive and negative emails and responses. Therefore, we forwarded all these communications to the management for further consideration. Ultimately, our collective efforts and the management's reconsideration motivated them to embrace this change positively.

In conclusion, it is essential to highlight that even a small initiative by an HR professional can inspire motivation.

Bipin is correct in suggesting that we can foster a sense of belonging by showing appreciation through emails and acknowledging their efforts. These actions entail no costs but can greatly benefit individuals.

If you go to see, generally people don't carry a good impression about HR professionals. In order to make HR more fruitful, we need to be more human-centric and try to solve problems and understand their feelings. As it's said, any activity to be carried out should flow from top to down, where the top management has accepted the ideas, and now it's up to the local people to implement and deliver results.
