Dear Mr Aniket Pathak,
Your Statement that "do not deduct the pf of the employees having basic + DA more than 15k" is not tenable legally. An Employee who is covered under EPF wll continue to be covered under EPF Irrespective of his EPF Wages going above EPF Wage Ceiling of Rs15,000/- However, Employer can restrict EPF Contribution to ceiling Limit i.e Rs15,000/- Please go through EPF Act & EPS,1995 for the sake of understanding

Dear Mr Aniket,
Even for New Employee Joining the Establishment whose Entry Level EPF Wages is more than Rs15,000/-, Automatically you can not exclude him from EPF Coverage.Action as deemed fit to be initiated only after obtaining EPF Form No 11 (New) & based on the information furnished therein. Please note that EPF is a beneficial legislation & to the extent possible Employers should encourage Employees to become EPF Members. The rate of interest is more than industry standard & consistently you get interest.

You can deduct PF on Gross salary subject to limit Rs. 15K as per EPF Act. If Basic salary is >than 15K can not consider Gross salary for PF computation. IF Basic+DA salary is >than 15 K, you can deduct PF on it.
