Hi Sejal
I think that you should start looking for a good opportunity. 3 years is a substantial time-period to spend in an organization and if the things are not in your favour, then moving ahead is the best decision.

Hi Sejal,
Probably discussion has been misinterpreted... to conclude. u r 1 month old in this org and otherwise in totality u have 3 yrs of exp.. n in ur second post u mentioned there is another girl who is with THIS org only for the last 3 yrs n is facing the same prob.. then let me clarify
What i stated earlier definately applies to u
Also, never compare ur position with the other girl n never even think that u wud be treated similarly too coz every individual has different potential n after judging that there might be very different responsibilities which r handed over..
so take around 1 year. prove urself, n dont get caught with negativity by seeing ur colleagues/ boss. its ur work which shud be ur priority now n dont give chance3 to any1 to raise a point on ur accountability..
Hope that suffices.

this happens everywhere u r not special. but i would advice ignore such things u can not change anyone's attitude weather he is a junior or senior. dedicate to your job and else let him manage what ever he wants to do. you could draw attention of management when time is there or situation is there like his performance appraisal or in grievance discussion with top management.

Dear Sejal It is better to look for a change and expose these kind of hypocrites in the public and this would be a lesson for youngsters to take decision before joining compnaies like this. Ramesh

HI Sejal,
1)first of all collect your appointment letter anyhow. because if you leave this job after say 1 year or so...next employer will always ask for appointment letter...so don't miss this.
2) as you are only one month old.....i would suggest that do not take any radical step like "quiting". try to understand the situation and be calm, hardworking and focused. don't mess up with your boss. i would suggest try being manipulative.because been assertive with this kind of boss will not take you anywhere. I have also faced such a situation. i tried my way out by sugar coating my demands...like in your case you want to know about current opening in ur company,etc... i would keep on asking for details in a softer/polite way again and again till he realize that i am genuinely interested and am not going to give it up.
But top of all if your company holds good brand in industry then stay there for 1 year atleast and then change.get a good name on your resume.
but if your company is not holding any good brand name then just quit ASAP, because at present you can give reason that your current company and employees are not good..so you are changing, but later on after few months it would be difficult for you to switch over. next employer will ask you that why you want to change just in few months of stay.
As you are experienced enough in recruitment, try to be smart in your approach.

Shivani

Dear Sejal;
Have little patience. One month time is not enough to judge any a person. Think positive and that will work. If nothing improves in atleast six months time, you may decide to quit.

hi sejal
fighting with boss is like fighting with pig, the more you fight more it enjoys.
so either go his boss, if any, or to the company boss, explain your problems, if he has time and has a ear for you.
if all these fail, start looking for change.
be clear about your stand and what has been told to you. so send a mail copy to his boss. otherwise he/she may transfer all failures on your lap. so after each incident send an e-mail to him/her so that you have made your stand clear. if you simply keep quite or has not aired ur view, then u may b at a dis-advantagous position. so keep sending mails and build up ur case

Hi Sejal,
I am thinking that something wrong is going in and by HR of your organisation. I mean to say that "Dal main Kuch Kala Hai". Your HR manager is doing something illegal which other will come to know if they have access to recoreds.
For an example, you find out whether PF deducted from employees have been correctly shown in PF annual return or shown in some other employyes account. Like this there will be so many things where he can do manupulation. You have to find out all these things then only you can get your place.
