Hi,
You can appoint people with age of 18 yrs and above. There is no legal procedure require for such appointments.
However adolescents between the age of 14 – 18 years cannot be employed in any hazardous occupation. Under the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2012, the parents of the underage child employed can be penalized as well. As per Child Labour law, children aged less than 18 years are not permitted to work in any factory.
Please refer Section 2 in The Factories Act, 1948 for further details.
By the by you have posted a question and to answer your question you have fixed age criteria for the Members... whom to answer ( "Age after 58 please advice"). Thank God you have not asked for the Age proof certificate from the respondents !
