W.e.f. Ist Apr 2012 the EPF is online. During updation of monthly challan, we need to update the joinings and leavings dates. However, the joinings and the leavings need to be of the same month for which we are depositing the challan. In our organisation, we process the payroll from 21-20th month to month. We take into account the joinings upto 20th and w.e.f. 21st the joinings are taken into consideration in the next month payroll and we pay them the differential days as arrears. How do we now update the joining and leaving dates in the online EPF? Any ideas ???
