Dear Saswatabanerjee & Bhuwansbist,
Both u and we all are wheels of running train and keep it running without any hesitations, every one here want to learn something more from each other so, be relaxed and keep sharing for the sake of knowledge,
Bhuwan u need not increase a salary if u or ur company is paying more than M.W. TILL M.W. meets the actual salary, then only u shall have to consider this point, of course it doesn't mean that u have to stop increments per year, becoz that is the booster for employees.
Pls. keep smiling and try to understand each other,
being a unknown friend this my suggestion; don't take it wrong way,
Regards,

Kiran,
Just a point to ensure your (and other's) input is not mis-understood :
You do not have to increase salary so long as it is higher than the Current Minimum Wages notification. Also to note the fact that this is revised twice a year (and for maharashtra, also revised for shop and establishments again end of september 2010).
