Minimum wages consist of only basic & DA. In Maharashtra and WB additional minimum of 5% of HRA is payable on earnings of these two components for orgs employing 50+ employees. ESIC is deduction @1.75% of gross wages. In Maharashtra DA is termed as special allowance.

Duties the office attendant requires to discharge will determine whether he is unskilled, semiskilled or skilled. You be the dispassionate judge as you will have to justify when you will be questioned by authority, if at all.
