It all starts with the boss or manager .He or she should set a example by saying " good morning". I was working as trainee in a large co marketing dept in 1977, a new boss with defence background came and made it a point to tell every body good morning every day morning
It brought such change in dept every body continued it and in every new year day, he will wish every body and shook hands with them.
I personaly feel it has more to do than just Team spirit, it is the emotional bonding it builts in people. I left the company after working for 25 years.
It is 41 years now , still I meet him, he is around 85 years , he is with same spirit .
A good quality of boss , imbibes in his colleagues a goog habit for ever always
