I have left a company in Hyderabad & applied for withdrawal of PF amount. But after one year I came to know that SSN number is required to get the amount from my a/c. Its over 1 year but still I did not get my PF amount. Please let me know if it is better to transfer the PF to new PF a/c or withdrawn the amount. How much time it takes for both. If transfer is between 2 states then what is the situation.

dear citehr friend,
I suggest you to meet P.A. to Regional PF Commissioner, of your location because I got a similar good response respectively. If you want to withdraw money immediately from your earlier company you can do so. But if you want it to accumulate then go for transfer of money from old to new company through a transfer application form given by PF Authorities followed by formalities like attestation of forms etc... don't worry about SSN etc. contact PA to Regional PF Commissioner of your location at the earliest. Good Luck.

agreed that PF continues and transfer for interest and cont.of PF membership and also know that if you want to withdraw PF amount after 2months quitting the job, you can get the PF withdrawal forms 19&10-c, having signed by Gazatted Officer whom you know and can verify himself at the time of verification of signature by PF office.
